TASSIE

Rescued DECEMBER 2018

Our Handsome Bobby Calf. Tassie was rescued with Daisy and our passed friend Barney from a farm in Taree.

Tassie loves to try and fit in with the cool kids Kernel and Oreo, however doesn’t have as much pluck, being a gentle and kind-hearted boy. Tassie roams free with his friends Hope, Ray, Howie, Oreo and Kernel. Although he may be at the bottom of the hierarchy, Tassie hasn’t lost his spirit!

Bobby calves like Tassie are viewed as highly dispensable in the dairy industry. Often being sent to an abattoir as young as five days old, or shot on the farmer’s property.
