KERNEL

Rescued OCTOBER 2018

Kernel Almond, our ‘Pretty Boy’, and the shortest of them all. Rescued from a dairy farm near Taree, NSW. Saved from his inevitably short life, inflicted by dairy farmers, Kernel can now live safely and happily with friends.

Bobby calves like Kernel are viewed as highly dispensable in the dairy industry. Often being sent to an abattoir as young as five days old, or shot on the farmer’s property.

Kernel has a kind soul and friendly to all…. when the hay and pellets aren’t around!
